Capuchin Centennial Celebration
Sat. Oct. 20, 2001 at 10:00a.m.
The
centennial celebration was a success! Guam's Archbishop
Anthony S. Apuron, O.F.M. Cap., D.D. presided. Bishop
Peter Baptist Ishigami, O.F.M. Cap. (retired bishop of
Naha, Okinawa) and Bishop
Tomas Camacho (Bishop of Chalan Kanoa Diocese, Northern
Marianas) were also present at the celebration.
The
main celebrant of the Eucharistic celebration was the Very
Rev. Joseph Nacua, OFM Cap. ,the delegate from Rome, representing
the general minister of the entire Capuchin
Order, Father John Corriveau, O.F.M. Cap.
